Bavaria - The latest poll for the State election in Bavaria from GMS shows the following results: CSU 42%, AfD 12%, Freie Wähler 11%, Grüne 10%, SPD 7%, BSW 6%, Bayernpartei 2%, FDP 2% and Die Linke 1%. If an election were held in Bavaria this Sunday, CSU might gain the most in voter favorability with +5.0 growth since the last election. Freie Wähler, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-4.8) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.

Dr. Markus Söder is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CSU and Freie Wähler. With 60.2% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.

The election survey was collected by GMS. For this purpose, 1048 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 5 days (11.09.2024 - 16.09.2024).

How reliable are election polls?
