ITN's worldview is rooted in a deep distrust of the established political class. The party sees itself as the voice of the 'common people' against a corrupt 'elite'. Its foundation is a direct, often emotionally charged patriotism and the belief that the state must be radically democratized through plebiscitary elements, such as referendums. Its view of humanity is characterized by the idea of the empowered citizen, who is currently patronized by the existing system.

The agenda focuses on overhauling the political system, particularly the transition from proportional representation to a majoritarian electoral system. ITN advocates for a drastic reduction in the size of parliament and the strengthening of the executive branch through a presidential system. Economically, the party generally holds liberal, market-friendly positions, while socially it emphasizes conservative values.
