The foundation of DOMiNO is a deep-seated Croatian patriotism that prioritizes national independence over supranational aspirations. Its ideology is shaped by a conservative worldview, which regards the traditional nuclear family as the bedrock of society. The party sees itself as the guardian of Croatian identity and history, strongly opposing liberal social currents and a perceived decline in values. In this context, the state is primarily understood as a sanctuary for its people and their cultural heritage.
DOMiNO's agenda is firmly rooted in a "Croatia First" policy. Key demands include a restrictive immigration policy, robust support for domestic producers, and the preservation of traditional societal norms. The party primarily targets value-conservative citizens, patriotic voters, and residents of rural areas who feel unrepresented by centrist mainstream parties. DOMiNO places a strong emphasis on demographic issues, advocating for extensive state incentives for families with multiple children.
Strategically, DOMiNO positions itself as an uncompromising right-wing opposition force or a corrective partner within conservative coalitions. The party views itself as an authentic original, aiming to solidify Croatia's rightward political shift. Regarding the rule of law, it emphasizes national sovereignty over EU institutions. Its strategic calculus is to bridge the gap between the moderate conservative camp and radical fringe groups, thereby acting as a gravitational center for all national-conservative forces in the country.
