How is the election held?
The Cypriot Parliament has 56 seats, which are allocated through proportional representation. The electoral threshold is set at 1.8%. Seats are distributed according to the Hare-Niemeyer method. All citizens aged 18 and over in six electoral districts are eligible to vote.
