The ADIK's foundation is built upon a deeply rooted Greek-Cypriot patriotism. Its ideology champions the indivisibility of the Republic of Cyprus and the safeguarding of national identity. Central to their worldview is a state that acts as a bulwark against external influence. For the party, justice primarily entails the restoration of sovereignty over the entire national territory, inextricably linking human rights and democratic principles with national liberation and resistance against occupation.
The ADIK's political agenda is almost exclusively dedicated to resolving the Cyprus conflict under stringent conditions. They demand the complete withdrawal of all foreign troops and unequivocally reject federal models that could lead to a de facto partition. On socio-economic policy, the party adopts a moderate-conservative stance, emphasizing the protection of the middle class and refugees from the northern part of the island. Their target demographic comprises patriotic voters who accuse the established major parties of being too lenient on matters of national survival.
Strategically, ADIK operates as a critical corrective force within the Cypriot political landscape. Despite being a smaller party, it assumes the role of the "national conscience," aiming to shift political discourse further to the right through maximalist demands. Regarding state institutions, the party remains loyal as long as they uphold the unity of the Republic. It leverages the democratic system to organize resistance against international mediation plans that, in its view, could jeopardize the state's integrity.
