How is the election held?
The 200 seats in the Chamber of Deputies are allocated using proportional representation with the d'Hondt method. Parties must achieve 5% of the votes, while coalitions need between 5-20% depending on their size. The 14 electoral districts correspond to the regions, and the number of seats is based on the population.
