Naše Česko's foundation is built upon a strict "Czechia First" principle. The party espouses an ethnocentric worldview, prioritizing the needs of its own citizens over international obligations. Its understanding of the state is marked by deep skepticism towards supranational institutions like the EU, which are perceived as threats to Czech identity and self-determination. Conservative values and the protection of traditional structures form the movement's moral compass.
The agenda of Naše Česko focuses on securing borders, combating illegal immigration, and rejecting the Euro. Economically, NC champions protectionist policies and promises social security for its core electorate – primarily rural populations and the working class who feel left behind by globalization. The party advocates for direct democracy through referendums, aiming to curb the influence of parliamentary parties in favor of what it perceives as the popular will.
Strategically, Naše Česko operates as an anti-establishment force, exerting external pressure on Czechia's political system. It employs polarizing rhetoric to cultivate tensions between "the people" and "the elites." While formally operating within the rule of law, its pursuit of radical direct democracy and criticism of international treaties challenge the country's existing institutional frameworks. It positions itself as a conservative counterweight to liberal reforms.
