V-Partei³: Data Analysis, Current Polls, and Policy Positions

The V-Party³ was founded in April 2016 in Munich. Its full name is 'Party for Change, Vegetarians and Vegans'. The party arose from the need to provide political representation for the approximately 10 million vegetarians and vegans in Germany. Its motto 'We love life' underscores the commitment to the protection and dignity of all living beings.

The V-Party³ advocates for organic-vegan agriculture and strives for the exit from animal husbandry. It calls for a stop to factory farming, a ban on hunting, animal testing, and the use of animals in circuses. Additionally, it pleads for the promotion of alternatives to animal products and sustainable resource use. Another central concern is the introduction of an unconditional basic income to promote social justice.

Since its founding, the V-Party³ has participated in several state and federal elections, but without any significant electoral success. In the 2019 European elections, it was not allowed to run due to deficiencies in the nomination process. In 2020, the party won its first municipal mandate in Bavaria. In the 2024 European elections, it ran with lead candidate Simon Klopstock, but was unable to win any mandates.

According to its own statements, the V-Party³ has about 1,000 members. The party is active nationwide and primarily addresses citizens who are interested in the global connections of growth, consumption, and eating behavior. It emphasizes its independence from lobbying interests and wants to provide an honest political home for its target group.
