Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from Civey shows the following results: CDU/CSU 34.4%, SPD 29.8%, AfD 9.5%, Die Linke 8.7%, Grüne 7.2% and FDP 6.3%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, SPD might gain the most in voter favorability with +13.4 growth since the last election. AfD, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-11.3) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 67.1% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by Civey. For this purpose, 7549 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 8 days (09.04.2017 - 17.04.2017).
