Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from Verian shows the following results: CDU/CSU 33%, SPD 29%, AfD 11%, Die Linke 8%, Grüne 8% and FDP 6%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, SPD might gain the most in voter favorability with +12.6 growth since the last election. AfD, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-9.8) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 65.4% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by Verian. For this purpose, 2233 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 7 days (26.01.2017 - 02.02.2017).
