Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from GMS shows the following results: CDU/CSU 40%, SPD 22%, FDP 9%, Die Linke 8%, Grüne 8% and AfD 7%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, CDU/CSU might gain the most in voter favorability with +11.5 growth since the last election. AfD, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-13.8) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.

Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 66.4% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.

The election survey was collected by GMS. For this purpose, 1007 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 7 days (08.08.2017 - 15.08.2017).
