Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from Civey shows the following results: CDU/CSU 37.6%, SPD 22.9%, FDP 9.6%, Die Linke 9.2%, AfD 8.6% and Grüne 7.6%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, CDU/CSU might gain the most in voter favorability with +9.1 growth since the last election. AfD, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-12.2) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 63.6% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by Civey. For this purpose, 10112 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 7 days (22.08.2017 - 29.08.2017).
