Election poll results
Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from GMS shows the following results: CDU/CSU 38%, SPD 22%, FDP 10%, Die Linke 9%, Grüne 9% and AfD 8%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, CDU/CSU might gain the most in voter favorability with +9.5 growth since the last election. AfD, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-12.8) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 62.7% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by GMS. For this purpose, 1012 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 6 days (31.08.2017 - 06.09.2017).
