Institute often rates Grüne higher

Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from Forschungsgruppe Wahlen shows the following results: CDU/CSU 29%, AfD 21%, SPD 15%, Grüne 14%, Die Linke 5%, BSW 4% and FDP 4%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, Grüne might gain the most in voter favorability with +2.4 growth since the last election. Die Linke, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-3.8) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 52.5% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by Forschungsgruppe Wahlen. For this purpose, 1428 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 2 days (27.01.2025 - 29.01.2025).
