Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from Forschungsgruppe Wahlen shows the following results: CDU/CSU 28%, AfD 21%, SPD 16%, Grüne 14%, Die Linke 8%, BSW 4.5% and FDP 4.5%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, Grüne might gain the most in voter favorability with +2.4 growth since the last election. Die Linke, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-0.8) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 50.6% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by Forschungsgruppe Wahlen. For this purpose, 1349 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 1 days (19.02.2025 - 20.02.2025).
