Germany - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Germany from Institut Wahlkreisprognose shows the following results: CDU/CSU 26%, AfD 24.5%, SPD 16.5%, Grüne 12%, Die Linke 10.5%, FDP 4% and BSW 3.5%. If an election were held in Germany this Sunday, AfD might gain the most in voter favorability with +3.7 growth since the last election. CDU/CSU, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-2.5) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Friedrich Merz is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from CDU/CSU and SPD. With 47.6% of virtual seats, the government could fail to remain in office.
The election survey was collected by Institut Wahlkreisprognose. For this purpose, 1000 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 3 days (27.04.2025 - 30.04.2025).
