Election poll results
Iceland - The latest poll for the Parliamentary Election in Iceland from MMR shows the following results: Sjálfstæðisflokkurinn 24%, Píratar 15.4%, Samfylkingin 13.1%, V 10.8%, Framsóknarflokkurinn 8.6%, Miðflokkurinn 8.4%, Viðreisn 8.4%, Sósíalistaflokkur Íslands 5.1% and Flokkur fólksins 4%. If an election were held in Iceland this Sunday, Píratar might gain the most in voter favorability with +12.4 growth since the last election. Flokkur fólksins, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-9.8) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Katrín Jakobsdóttir is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from Samfylkingin, Flokkur fólksins and Viðreisn. With 25.4% of virtual seats, the government could fail to remain in office.
The election survey was collected by MMR. For this purpose, 951 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 5 days (23.07.2020 - 28.07.2020).
