Its understanding of the individual is collectivist: citizens are not merely voters but active shapers of sovereignty, aiming to definitively overcome the country's historical dependence.

The LVV's agenda centers on a robust commitment to the rule of law and the redistribution of wealth. It advocates for substantial investments in education and healthcare, alongside protecting the domestic economy through state interventions. Its policies primarily target the younger generation, the diaspora, and the working class, who feel alienated by the traditional "war parties". A core objective remains the strengthening of statehood, with the historical ideal of unification with Albania also resonating as a long-term vision for national unity.

Strategically, the LVV has transformed from an extra-parliamentary protest movement employing civil disobedience into a dominant governing force.
