The party's foundation rests on the belief in a democratic, sovereign Moldova firmly anchored within the European community of values. Its vision of humanity emphasizes individual responsibility, yet supported by a robust social safety net. At its core, PRIM is driven by the ambition to dismantle deeply entrenched corruption and transform state institutions to serve citizens rather than a privileged elite. It defines national pride not through isolation, but through successful modernization and state stability.
PRIM's agenda is centered on fostering economic recovery by championing small and medium-sized enterprises and expanding digital infrastructure. The party primarily targets the young, urban middle class and diaspora returnees who advocate for transparent governance. A key challenge remains balancing essential, often difficult, structural reforms with maintaining social cohesion in economically disadvantaged regions. PRIM calls for a radical judicial reform as a fundamental prerequisite for attracting foreign investment.
Strategically, PRIM acts as a bridge-builder between civil society engagement and parliamentary action. It sees itself as a guardian of constitutional norms and actively seeks close cooperation with international partners to accelerate Moldova's EU accession process. Within the system, its role is that of a critical yet democratic force: it challenges the established political landscape with promises of transparency, but must also prove its capacity to govern beyond mere protest, demonstrating stability against external influence.
