North Rhine-Westphalia - The latest poll for the State election in North Rhine-Westphalia from Institut Wahlkreisprognose shows the following results: CDU 30%, SPD 27%, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen 13.5%, FDP 11%, AfD 9% and Die Linke 4%. If an election were held in North Rhine-Westphalia this Sunday, FDP might gain the most in voter favorability with +5.1 growth since the last election. CDU, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-5.7) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Hendrik Wüst is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and CDU. With 48.0% of virtual seats, the government could fail to remain in office.
The election survey was collected by Institut Wahlkreisprognose. For this purpose, 1230 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 1 days (19.01.2022 - 20.01.2022).
