North Rhine-Westphalia - The latest poll for the State election in North Rhine-Westphalia from Institut Wahlkreisprognose shows the following results: SPD 33%, CDU 27.5%, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen 17.5%, FDP 7.5%, AfD 6% and Die Linke 3%. If an election were held in North Rhine-Westphalia this Sunday, SPD might gain the most in voter favorability with +6.3 growth since the last election. CDU, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-8.2) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Hendrik Wüst is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and CDU. With 49.2% of virtual seats, the government could fail to remain in office.
The election survey was collected by Institut Wahlkreisprognose. For this purpose, 1230 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 1 days (08.04.2022 - 09.04.2022).
