North Rhine-Westphalia - The latest poll for the State election in North Rhine-Westphalia from Institut Wahlkreisprognose shows the following results: SPD 31.5%, CDU 31%, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen 15%, AfD 7.5%, FDP 6.5% and Die Linke 2.5%. If an election were held in North Rhine-Westphalia this Sunday, SPD might gain the most in voter favorability with +4.8 growth since the last election. CDU, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-4.7) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Hendrik Wüst is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and CDU. With 50.3% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by Institut Wahlkreisprognose. For this purpose, 1445 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 2 days (20.04.2022 - 22.04.2022).
