North Rhine-Westphalia - The latest poll for the State election in North Rhine-Westphalia from Institut Wahlkreisprognose shows the following results: CDU 31%, SPD 24.5%, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen 19%, AfD 12.5%, FDP 5.5% and Die Linke 1.5%. If an election were held in North Rhine-Westphalia this Sunday, AfD might gain the most in voter favorability with +7.1 growth since the last election. CDU, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-4.7) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Hendrik Wüst is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and CDU. With 54.0% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by Institut Wahlkreisprognose. For this purpose, 1400 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 4 days (07.11.2022 - 11.11.2022).
