The KKP's worldview is rooted in a pre-modern understanding of state and society. It aims to establish a monarchy inextricably linked to the Catholic faith (the reign of Christ the King). Its anthropology is hierarchical and collectivist: the nation takes precedence over the individual, and tradition over progress. For them, sovereignty means a complete rejection of supranational influences, coupled with deep skepticism towards Western Enlightenment and liberal values.
The party's agenda is characterized by radical traditionalism. It advocates for Poland's withdrawal from the EU ("Polexit"), the preservation of an ethnically homogeneous society, and the protection of "traditional family values" against any liberal reforms. Economically, it promotes a libertarian approach with massive tax cuts, yet it abandons this concept of freedom when it comes to social issues. Its target audience includes devout Catholics, radical nationalists, and those who feel alienated by the modern, secular state.
Within the Polish party system, the KKP operates as a fundamentalist opposition force on the far-right fringe. It often uses parliament as a platform for provocations against established institutions and the rule of law, which it rejects as a construct of foreign powers. Strategically, it serves as an ideological anchor within broader right-wing alliances, often pushing the boundaries of political discourse through its uncompromising stance and increasing pressure on moderate conservative forces.
