The foundation of Konfederacja is built upon a tense symbiosis of libertarian individualism and a Catholic-nationalist collective identity. While one faction views the state as a threat to personal freedom, the other sees it as a shield for traditional Christian values and national sovereignty. Its conception of the individual oscillates between the self-reliance of the free entrepreneur and the citizen's duty to the nation. They are united in their rejection of modern, secular liberalism and a strong welfare state.
The political agenda of Konfederacja focuses on radical deregulation: massive tax cuts, the abolition of social benefits, and a lean state are top priorities. Concurrently, the party pursues a restrictive social policy, opposing abortion and fighting against LGBTQ+ rights. Its primary target demographics include young men, small business owners, and EU-skeptic nationalists. In foreign policy, it advocates a "Poland First" strategy, critically questioning international obligations and viewing Brussels as an illegitimate actor within the Polish legal system.
Within Poland's political system, Konfederacja operates as an anti-establishment force. It positions itself not only against the liberal center but often to the right of established conservative parties. Its relationship with the rule of law is characterized by a strong emphasis on national sovereignty.
