LIVRE's foundation rests on its four namesake pillars: Freedom, Left, Europe, and Ecology. The party views ecology not as a niche issue, but as an essential prerequisite for social justice. Their vision of humanity is optimistic and emancipatory.
LIVRE's agenda focuses on a progressive transformation of the economy. Its core demands include the introduction of a Universal Basic Income (UBI), a drastic reduction in working hours, and a substantial expansion of the welfare state. The party primarily targets urban, academic, and younger demographics who feel threatened by climate change and precarious employment conditions. A particular emphasis is placed on the "Green New Deal": state-led investments are intended to integrate ecological sustainability with full employment. Furthermore, LIVRE advocates for minority rights and humane immigration policies.
LIVRE sees itself as a bridge-builder within the left-wing political spectrum and a force for parliamentary reform. Strategically, it embraces "radical realism" – aiming to combine ideological principles with practical governability, without succumbing to the dogmatism of traditional communist parties. Its relationship with the rule of law is constructive.
