How do the scenarios work?
How do the scenarios work?
For parties close to the electoral threshold, you can create individual scenarios. Using the checkboxes, you decide whether a party enters parliament or fails to pass the threshold. Parties below the threshold are raised to the threshold value for the scenario, while parties above the threshold are reduced and lose seats accordingly. Based on this, PolitPro calculates an updated seat distribution and recalculates coalition options. With “Reset to election trend”, you can return to the original election trend at any time.

How does the coalition calculator work?
How does the coalition calculator work?
With the PolitPro coalition calculator, you can build your own coalition scenarios and instantly check whether they would reach a parliamentary majority. The calculation is based on the current PolitPro election trend, from which seat distribution is automatically derived. Simply select the parties you want to include in your coalition. The display shows the participating parties, the total number of seats, and whether your coalition would have a majority. You also receive suggestions for additional possible coalition partners along with the corresponding majority forecast.
