Italy - The latest poll for the Parliamentary election in Italy from SWG shows the following results: Fratelli d’Italia 29.5%, Partito Democratico 21.1%, Movimento 5 Stelle 15.6%, Lega 9%, Forza Italia 6.6%, Azione 4.1%, AVS 3.3%, Italia Viva 2.8%, Più Europa 2.4%, Italexit 1.8% and UP 1.6%. If an election were held in Italy this Sunday, Fratelli d’Italia might gain the most in voter favorability with +3.5 growth since the last election. Forza Italia, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-1.5) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Giorgia Meloni is currently governing with a Centre-right coalition from Lega, Forza Italia, Fratelli d’Italia and NM. With 50.6% of virtual seats, the government could continue in office.
The election survey was collected by SWG. For this purpose, 1200 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 5 days (03.05.2023 - 08.05.2023).
