North Rhine-Westphalia - The latest poll for the State election in North Rhine-Westphalia from Institut Wahlkreisprognose shows the following results: SPD 31%, CDU 30.5%, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen 15.5%, FDP 9.5%, AfD 5.5% and Die Linke 2.5%. If an election were held in North Rhine-Westphalia this Sunday, SPD might gain the most in voter favorability with +4.3 growth since the last election. CDU, on the other hand, would lose the most votes (-5.2) in the election barometer compared to the last election result.
Hendrik Wüst is currently governing with a Coalition of the center from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and CDU. With 50.0% of virtual seats, the government could fail to remain in office.
The election survey was collected by Institut Wahlkreisprognose. For this purpose, 1100 persons were asked about their party preference in a period of 2 days (11.03.2022 - 13.03.2022).
